Estonia

Estonia is a European country located in the northern region of the Baltic States and gained its independence in 1991 from the Soviet Union. The country is mostly known for its islands and lakes and has a flat topography bordering the Baltic Sea eastern shores. Most of the land in Estonia is either forested or farmed. The language of the country is almost similar to Finnish, but has no other similarity to the other Baltic republic languages such as Russian, Lithuania or Latvia.
